Work with us
Help us build Curio
Curio is building the infrastructure independent vintage shops need to reach buyers who care about craft, era, and provenance. We’re small, taste-driven, and just getting started. If that sounds like your kind of place, we’d love to hear from you.

Open role
Associate Photographer & Curator
Part-time · Toronto, Ontario · 20–25 hrs/week
You’ll work directly with the founders to bring Toronto’s best vintage shops onto Curio — researching sellers, prepping and photographing inventory, drafting listings, and shaping the look and feel of the catalog from the ground up. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong visual taste and the patience to do careful, organized work.
What you’ll do
- Research and shortlist Toronto vintage and resale sellers worth bringing onto Curio
- Photograph product against Curio’s visual standards — full-length, detail, label, and flaw shots
- Write accurate condition notes, measurements, and listing copy
- Keep inventory, files, and SKUs organized as the catalog grows
- Help refine the photo SOP and seller onboarding workflow as we go
Who we’re looking for
- Real interest in vintage, fashion history, and Toronto’s resale scene
- Comfort behind a camera and a strong eye for product photography
- Careful, honest with condition — never embellishes a flaw
- Organized: tracks files, SKUs, and follow-ups without being reminded
- Writes clearly and edits their own copy
- Based in or around Toronto and able to handle product in person
Details
- Initial engagement: 8–12 weeks, with the intent to extend
- Compensation: CAD $25–$32/hr, depending on experience
- Schedule: flexible within the week, set with the founders
- Location: Toronto-based, with most work done at the photo setup
